Bloody Run Creek, Marquette, Iowa
Author: robj

Oct 7th weekend another trip camping at Bloody Run Creek at Marquette, Iowa. Couple photos right at the campground and a local scene.
Great place to camp and lots of other railfan spots on both sides of the Miss. river. Know I mentioned before but the town museum is a great
place for any Milwaukee Road fan and lots to do for family.

Yes, that second photo is fantastic. Thanks for posting.

Is this is the ex DM&E or IC&E? If so, is the train count somewhat low?

Right, "grain line" to Mason City. Think it pretty busy with regular trains and extras.

Milw, SOO, I & M, ICE, CP.

I like the 2nd picture, the climb out of Marquette is rather scenic. I used to live in those apartments near bloody run when I was in Iowa.
