Found this train out in the woods today, Nov 2, 2012.
Both shots at Vaughn Oregon, about 20 miles west of Eugene on the Coos Bay branch.

How often are they running, and what is the typical number of cars? Thx -- B

Believe they make one round trip a week, from Eugene to the North Spit and back. Can have up to 50 cars, this train was only about 25.
