Looking East towards Benson,AZ from Mescal?

Can't be Benson AZ, to much grenery. Gotta be New Mexico or Colorado.

May be the right railroad, but the scenery around Capulin Mt. does not match....not even close. If it is the C&S, it is much closer to Trinidad, Co.

I was going to make a joke about the SD&AE...I know it can't be there...too good rail/ballast and wrong terrain...altho that round mt. Does look like Round Mt. between Jacumba and I-8 (near the nudist hang-out!) Actually, the ballast shown in OP pic is prob. more than I ever saw on the entire SD&AE!!- Stevie

I had the same thought about that being more ballast in the photo than on the entire SD&AE.
