Western Railroad Discussion > F units - Spirit of Washington - to Santa CruzDate: 11/08/12 15:36 F units - Spirit of Washington - to Santa Cruz Author: stmfrevr Does anyone know the current location of these units? The BNSF Sacramento Turn came through yesterday and they were not in the train. They were going to set out at McClellan Park, . . . . ? ? ? The last I heard they were in Stockton awaiting disposition.

They have been interchanged to the UP at Stockton, and are going to move to Watsonville on a special light power move tomorrow the 9th as SSTWJ 09. Current plan is to run with UP 6512, UP 4636, and the two WCRC F units. The crew for the train is to be called at 06:30 out of Roseville with departure from Stockton later in the morning.

Units were interchanged from BNSF to UP at Stockton 0345 11/06. Seems strange a special movement would be necessary, units moved DIT to Stockton in manifest. I wonder what happened that they will now move special in their own "train"?
