Mr. David Mooney, a veteran Santa Fe Railroad employee, is a resident of Temple. He is the manager of BNSF Railroad’s track department and he is responsible for implementing a yearly maintenance schedule to keep BNSF’s 32,000 mile network of trains moving for the customers. He will describe common track problems, detection, repair, and the machines used in track repair. Time will be granted at the conclusion of the program for questions.
