Parade of GE's while waiting for the "Big C"

C as in colonoscopy which is coming tomorrow. Mid-morning I saw 4 NB trains on ATCS heading toward Bergstrom on the Austin Sub. What better things than trains to take my mind off an unhappily-empty stomach.

I did catch the 4 trains, all with GE power. Nary an EMD to be seen. Not a lot of variety - C44AC's and C44-9W's. Also had minimal sun to work with.


1. First up were CEMEX loads with ex-SP and ex-CNW C44-9W's for power.

Next up was an empty coal train out of San Antonio CSACD with a trio of C44AC's.

Third up was a rock train out of Western RR Co. just south of New Braunfels and last one was an empty grain train.

Been a pleasure sharing a part of my day with you. Hope you enjoyed it.

I actually got to watch part of mine in "living" color a few years ago! An experience truly to be missed! Hope everything goes ok for you!

Those AC4400s in elephant style look mighty handsome.

Soon they'll be in the scrapyards, they've never had much of a cult following among foamers, but best to enjoy them now.
