Author: Super_C On a recent trip to West Eagle Nest, AZ on the BNSF Transcon, the plan was to capture a dawn glint shot of a westbound. Alas, one westbound was too early and the second was too late for ideal light. The eastbound in the middle was there "on the money". Pictured is the middle train.
The window of opportunity for "perfect light" at this location at this time of year is somewhere within a 10 minute period. And keep in mind, there is a lot more to West Eagle Nest than dawn glint shots! It is just more fun to try to capture the difficult shots. And to think you drove out there in the dark to get there before sunrise. Very nice picture!

Author: CasperLine I think the BNSF bigwigs might like this hanging on the wall down in Ft Worth or Overland Park somewhere ;-) This shot does a great job of summing up the BNSF Transcon. Gotta agree with the vote for Image of the day
