They paused to set out a Martin swing helper in the yard. Note the tail end of an SP manifest at right. The pass was still very busy at this point, some four week after the merger. As many as two dozen trains per day. A distant memory now. James Belmont Salt Lake City, UT Date: 11/17/12 14:55 Re: Is it any wonder we like trains? If Glade or Airwick came out with a fragrance called "Run 8" I`d buy it by the case. Ct97 Date: 11/17/12 19:38 Re: Is it any wonder we like trains? Author: hiline tomstp Wrote:

Got too here two yesterday on the BNSF Gateway sub local with around 25 car's ,that was way late, running real short on hour's and in a hurry to make it back to K Fall's before the crew had died. After the quickest grab from the Bieber yard I have ever seen, pulled onto the main, backed up and picked up the Brakemen. They were headed back north, notch after notch, wide open real quick!! What a Awesome sound and sight that I am grateful to still get to witness. Bill Date: 11/18/12 08:30 Re: Is it any wonder we like trains? Author: WichitaJct Very nice. Four EMDs. I bet the sound was beautiful. GEs sound like washing machines on steroids.
