Seligman Sub Trip: East Eagle Nest and West of Darling
Author: gjc

There are 3 trains in this video. The first train is at East Eagle Nest, east bound around 2:30pm. The second and third train is a meet west of Darling the next morning around 8:30am.
We are in AZ, along the Seligman Subdivision. Video shot by myself and TO member Curt. At East Eagle Nest Curt is trackside and I have the high ground.

You've got excellent timing on that meet! If that Maersk hauls that fast thru Eagle Nest, a Z9 must levitate thru there!

Excellent video, good shooting men! I hope the crew on that first train were hanging on through the dips. That train was cookin'.

Fabulous video! It really reinforces Warren Buffett's decision to invest in BMSF!

Nice work (as always) George . . . your camera angles make a normal passing consist much more interesting . . . also unusual to see DPU's in that lash up configuration . . don't think I've seen that before.

Great video!

It's uphill both ways out of Eagle Nest, which means it's one of the few places on the Seligman Sub where you can catch trains hauling a$$ both directions since they're coming downhill into Eagle Nest. You can see the Stack train starting to pour on the power as it enters frame and begins climbing uphill. By the time the rear of the train passes, it has noticeably slowed.

That's a really nice view there near West Darling, I'll have to check it out.

The all-trailer train should be a ZWSPSBD8.
