Western Railroad Discussion > "Old" EMDs and blade trainsDate: 11/28/12 20:45 "Old" EMDs and blade trains Author: NH2006 A few from the northern Colorado Fortress of Collins. "Old" SD70MACs and some other really old EMDs...
1. Empty blade train yesterday in November "light" northbound approaching Colorado State University's campus. 2. Today, the Great Western used that same power to bring over a loaded train to send back south. 3. Faded SD70MAC leading a northbound coal empty across CSU's campus. Date: 11/28/12 20:48 Re: "Old" EMDs and blade trains Author: NH2006 4. Rear DPUs with another SD70MAC. Too bad the wagon wheel was gone, I was hopeful.
5. OK OK, how about a GP7 on the Great Western local power. There, now that's old EMD power. 6. Back from the dead, BNSF 8103 leads the Longmont Switch back to well, uh, Longmont. Here leaving Fort Collins. They should call it the Fort Collins Switch. Date: 11/28/12 20:49 Re: "Old" EMDs and blade trains Author: NH2006 7. One final one from Mason Street, approaching CSU's campus. Love those BN paint SD60Ms.
