Western Railroad Discussion > KCS Belle ACe leads a blade train to Fort Collins, ColoDate: 12/04/12 14:42 KCS Belle ACe leads a blade train to Fort Collins, Colo Author: NH2006 H/T to Colorado Zephyr....
1. New student housing near CSU, should be kinda noisy from the train though... 2. Almost to Prospect...second unit is TFM 1672 3. Chased on my bike to Mason Street. That's hard on a 20" wheel single speed. Date: 12/04/12 15:15 Re: KCS Belle ACe leads a blade train to Fort Collins, Author: highgreengraphics Yes, thanks to the excellent fans to the south of us! I got'um too, but I was waiting for you to post. We drove farther, but had time constraints so had to leave it, but being northbound, when the sun came out bright it was too backlit anyway.
Photo 1 - North of Boulder, CO, and no snow in the foothills yet. Photo 2 - Milepost 36 south of Niwot, CO going through the sags. The cars in this train were a mishmash of different types of wind turbine-hauling equipment, with some heavy-duty flats mixed in with the light-duty flats, a gon and some specially-equipped bulkhead flats. Perhaps this equipment is headed for storage? Photo 3 - On 11-30, a Great Falls - Denver rolls over the Cache La Poudre River in Fort Collins, CO. Uno more... Edited 1 time(s). Here it is just north of Busch, CO, north of Fort Collins.
I get by with a little help from my friends... === === = === JLH Date: 12/04/12 16:52 Re: KCS Belle ACe leads a blade train to Fort Collins, Author: NH2006 Love that shot north of Boulder, JLH!

Ah-ha...so are they really invoking some federal statute or provision of the Patriot Act in this?
