Just a little treat from last nights activities in Lathrop. I know a bunch of the holiday trains make this a normal thing, but its cool to see road power getting into the holiday spirit.
Unfortunately My little HD camcorder records video in .mts so I can't convert it to .mov on my mac (for now).
So this is the only video I shot on my 5D...and boy its a good one. Shout out to Kevin behind the controls out there in Lathrop, I will for sure be making that a regular spot for me.

Was that "Jingle Bells" that I heard sounded for the crossing?

Yes that was jingle bells. Technically there is still two longs a short and a long in there...But he never actually hit the crossing, just triggered it.

I've done jingle bells for the kids, the boys love trains. The oldest shot a whole roll of film on just me bringing two NS units light power... Nice catch!
