BBB - B unit Back in Biz on Keokuk Junction???
Author: robj

Thursday at 4:00 PM traveling from A to B I passed through Good Hope, IL where the Westbound Keokuk Junction was ready to leave and the EB was finishing getting ready. Waited for a few minutes and surprisingly here comes the train(EB) with the B unit which I thought was O/S???? Not sure it was online but someone said they saw it running at Mapleton but not sure if on the way from the shops but whatever, here it is.

Does anyone else think it's funny when people travel 1500 miles in hopes of getting an A-B-A and they get that consist ? ;-)

I recall back in the 80's here in Southern Ontario CN was running a steel train that "normally" would get an A-B-A of F's. One day this carload of foamers from afar showed up to find A-B-GP9 and were none too pleased that the other A unit was 2 miles away on a rail train. In retrospect however, the rail train with two C-630M's on one end and an F-unit on the other cannot be discounted today.
