It's being repainted. Been at KC since 10/10/12 with the comment of "ROUTE TO MID AMERICA ACCT FADED & REQUIRES COMPLETE PAINT."

The last time that I saw it from the distance it almost looked like a pale yellow!Amazing how much bad orange paint could fade.

Nice image. Here in the upper Midwest, they are
referred to as "Warpeaches". LOL And it was often
difficult to tell when they came at you if it was
a BNSF or UP engine.
