Actually, I have seen photos of SW1500's in the white scheme with handrails, but I have never seen a gray SW1500 with hand grabs. Based on this, my guess is the conversion from hand grabs to handrails occurred around 1988-1990, about the same time the grey scheme was being introduced. |
