Western Railroad Discussion > A Little Friday Afternoon ActionDate: 12/15/12 03:25 A Little Friday Afternoon Action Author: rrartist It's funny in a odd sort of way on how fast things change or stay the same, like the for example the weather, Monday it was snowy, cold and damp, today sunny and mild, Monday's CP train #284 had the CP #6245 leading, today CP #270 has the same. Not to fret, three EMDs will always warrant a chase! Starting off in Minnesota City MN and again as #270 passes the DME connection in Goodview MN and lastly swinging into Donehower MN.
   Date: 12/15/12 03:38 Re: A Little Friday Afternoon Action Author: rrartist After #270 clearing the west siding switch at Donehower, the dispatcher lined CP #271 out to head for the Twin Cities. I could hear the sounds of EMDs before the train rolled into view as the DME #6367 / CP #6221 were really making an effort to move the 130 cars! The top image has the train leaving Donehower MN and last two have #270 passing by Lamoille MN. The DME #6367, is the ex-Milwaukee Road #206. As I said earlier, the more things change, the more the stay the same, at least for now!
