Western Railroad Discussion > Need Help PleaseDate: 01/28/13 01:00 Need Help Please Author: Doubledumb A friend of mine is looking for some obscure train data from 1903. Specifically any information about time of departures and arrivals of the “Fast Mail” train that ran near “Van Meter Iowa” in 1903 or close to it as possible. Even more specifically the schedule for the time frame of 9-20-1903 through 10-8-1903. I believe it normally ran through the town of Van Meter around 1am and I don’t believe it stopped there, at least not all the time.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Jack Date: 01/28/13 01:30 Re: Need Help Please Author: funnelfan Van Meter is on the old Rock Island, now Iowa Interstate just west of Des Monies.
