Going wide on Cajon
Author: SCUfoamer

Today was day 1/3 on Cajon and I shot mostly with my new wide angle...There is no story with these few, but I'm really happy with how they turned out

1. BNSF Manifest on track 3
2. Southwest Chief passes over the flyer at Frost
3. Eastbound Manifest through Sullivans curve

4. Ghost Stacks under the moon
5. The pathavoider sitting pretty as an Eastbound rounds the curve

I like #1 with the train exiting the tunnel under the highway. What is the significance of Old Glory and the other two flags?

That's where the two Santa Fe crew members perished in a runaway I believe it was in 1996. I'd have to check my time book from back then to get the correct date. I passed that train headed east to Yermo back then. Didn't find out about the accident until later that afternoon. I don't have time to do a search right now but there have been several posts here on TO over the years.-BMT
