Western Railroad Discussion > National Train Day; The ALCO is OpenDate: 05/12/13 12:24 National Train Day; The ALCO is Open Author: BNSF-6432 As mentioned before in a earlier post we went to Muskogee on National Train Day and by the depot/muesum rests an ALCO that use to work locally for a paper company till moved to this location in the 90s. He's usually fenced up and locked up but due to the special event the cab was open and even the engine doors. Its a nice engine and paint on it, however this company never owned an ALCO and it was always owned by the paper company

Try this one with no seat for the engineer. Backing up and trying to use the brakes was different. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/13/13 11:40 by ATSFlocal73-74. Just curious, is it still operable to any degree?
