Western Railroad Discussion > La Crosse WI V Train VisitorsDate: 06/11/13 17:01 La Crosse WI V Train Visitors Author: rrartist We all must agree that most of the Class one railroad's motive power has become, say boring perhaps? It's nice to see and photograph something different than the endless stream of BNSF GEVOs! Monday gave me two different Vehicle trains with unique power. CSXT 7555 along with another C40-8 lead the first train into La Crosse, BNSF train V-BLUPTL (Blue Island - Portland). A short time later, BNSF train V-NTWNSC (Northtown - NS Connection/Chicago) rolled by with bigger surprise, the NS 6548! Ex-UP, nee ex-CNW no less! Nice indeed!
