Passing thru San Antonio I looked at the stuffed SP794 at the depot. I am curious to know why there is a portable air compressor in the cab and as to why the loco is plumbed into a permanent natural gas supply. Its wheels are well scotched, so it doesn't move. Thanks, Chris d.

I'm not sure, I'll have to inquire on my next trip there. But a guess (since no one has the answer evidently) would be the gas is for the headlamp. Air compressor? I'll have to think on that awhile...
