4 Elephants
Author: ssw

Went out shooting with my grandfather this afternoon, we caught these four GE's on an empty coal train on the UP Fort Worth Sub, just south of Tehuacana Creek, south of Waco. All four were running elephant style.

Nice--they look best when all facing the same way. Those will probably come through my area on the Wagoner & Coffeyville Subs tomorrow.

Those of us who remember Walt Disney's take on "The Jungle Book" may recall the "Elephants' Marching Song"--"By the right foot single file/over ev'ry jungle mile...." Then, if we has a similarly arranged consist of red locomotives with badly faded paint, "Pink Elephants on Parade" from "Dumbo".
