Coal dust? What about the smoke inhalation!
Author: BrianA

Loaded BNSF coal train acting as if was getting a run for the hill as it departs Pasco, WA westbound after a crew change. Not many hills to encounter as it's leaving Pasco though.

BNSF SD70MAC 9714 was smoking like this into Pasco, and again when it left.

I bet that sounded great! I think coal loads are 0.6hpt on the gorge. So they can only run 1x2. BNSF doesn't move freight. They save fuel. ;-)

Unless there isolating a engine the coal trains run around .8HPT.
