Pre-Flood Brush Sub Meet

The Brush is EMD country, and back in July this pair of SD70MAC’s presented an interesting contrast in paint and detail as southbound loads waited in the hole at Barr while northbound empties held the main.

I think one is an old BN SD70M (right) the unit on the left is a SF SD75I... Just a guess.

Nah. 9400's were the first series MAC. Always BN. Who knows. Maybe someone calculated that 80% of the time the crew change is on the other side.

9451 is the unit I am referring too as "on the right"...

They both are SD70MAC's. 9400's were the first series.

BNSF 9451 is an ex-BN unit repainted into H2, while BNSF 9931 is BNSF through and through, and was built several years later.
