Where appropriate, I usually inform people where I got the information when I post stuff on headsupnorcal. It's not just courtesy. People can determine its reliability based on whether it was someone else's post, my own look up, or an eyewitness sighting.

If the source doesn't want to reveal him or herself, "reliable source" is sufficient. By practicing this habit, I'm less of a hypocrite when I mock the media.

There are people out there on a futile popularity contest by pretending to be THE source of all information, ya know? Kind of like the tabloids. :-)

By the way, thanks Steven for the CitiRail GEVO info... except it's not going anywhere near where I can post my own eyewitness report!

Maybe they'll power up a decent Z-train up North now...
