Western Railroad Discussion > KCS' Christmas Train in KCDate: 12/21/13 17:39 KCS' Christmas Train in KC Author: bnsfsd70 In addition to the BNSF special running on the Topeka Sub (http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,3268303), the KCS Business Train and associated Christmas Cars were on display at a VERY busy Kansas City Union Station today. Due to shopping and weather concerns, I couldn't stick around for too long, but I was happy with what I came away with. I don't care what the weather is like, those KCS F's look beautiful in any light.
Photo 1: KCS 1 with "Rudy" the steam engine in the back. Both the KCS display and the Model Railway Experience were packed with people today, making for some great exposure for the hobby. Photo 2: An eb BNSF intermodal led by the BNSF 7500 snakes it's way down the KCT mainline. Photo 3: After spinning around at Santa Fe Junction, the "Missouri River Runner" pulls back into KCUS to prepare for it's afternoon departure back towards St. Louis. - Jeff Carlson Date: 12/21/13 19:47 Re: KCS' Christmas Train in KC Author: bnsf100 Excellent photos of the KCS Business Train and Holiday Train, Jeff!!!!!
