Tor in Eugene Date: 03/12/14 12:04 Re: Amtrak Exhibit Train leaving the ARM in Chandler, A Author: thetuck The 406 can only provide HEP for the consist, no tractive effort.
Date: 03/12/14 12:31 Re: Amtrak Exhibit Train leaving the ARM in Chandler, A Author: CP_M260 The 406 is not an "operational" locomotive. Its motor was removed, and now serves as a cab and baggage car on push-pull trains. These units are referred to as NPCUs (Non Powered Cabbed Unit),as they don't have their own motor.
