Western Railroad Discussion > LAUPT - National Train Day questionDate: 04/19/14 20:10 LAUPT - National Train Day question Author: gyralite A friend wants to take his grandson to LAUPT for the National Train Day festivities. Questions: 1) Does anyone here know what's planned for May 10 and 2) What's going on the previous weekend, if anything, in celebration of LAUPT's 75th anniversary, and 3) will the same displays be there on both weekends? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks in advance.

I did an Internet search and couldn't find much detail and I knew the railfan telegraph (aka T.O.) would be a big help. A sight ( http://www.daytrippen.com/train-day.html) says that Union Station will have something on May 10 but maybe they're just screwed up.
...... and will ATSF 3751 be there? I looked on their website and no mention of it there (it still shows info about San Bernardino from last week).
