Western Railroad Discussion > CN Cedar Rapids-Manchester IA LocalDate: 04/20/14 04:37 CN Cedar Rapids-Manchester IA Local Author: MILW86A Was back home to see the folks this weekend, and on Saturday, I heard the CN getting ready to depart Cedar Rapids IA for Manchester. So lo and behold, what do I get for power? A single NS toaster and not a very big train.
First photo is taken coming out of the yard near downtown Cedar Rapids. Second is at Emmons St in Hiawatha(orignally called Louisa, a town on the Milwaukee Omaha Main). 3rd, with a short train, the crew left another NS and a CSX motor in Cedar Rapids. I dont think the local works Sunday, so look for them to go north Monday perhaps. Happy Easter. Looks good even for this western board fan sitting here in the middle of Iowa.
