There are 17 posts of 16 trains in anything from glint shots to clouds to sunshine. Besides the 16 trains pictured, I missed about 4 each of UP and BNSF when I was changing locations. Pretty good day getting that many trains from 8:30 to 5:30. Thanks for looking.
Randy Lundgren Elgin, TX 1: BNSF 6093 NB about 2 1/2 north of Rogers, TX at mp 208.6 at 8:38am. 2: BNSF train CP 8887 NB at same location as above at 8:50 am. 3: Short BNSF 7086 NB at MP 208.7 at 9:18 am. Can see Temple TX through the haze and the massive Scott and White hospital which is about 10 miles north. 4: BNSF 9135 SB at same location as no. 3. The lone SC70ACe is pulling a long string of empty as as you can see them curving arund to the left of the engine. 9:58am. 5: Chased the 9135 to N. Hoyte mp 182.35 at 10:45 am. 6: BNSF 1085 NB is dead at South Hoyte. Had a bad order car and is subject to 10 mph. Dispatcher is waiting or a crew and a break in the action to run the train north to Cameron to set the car out in Cameron. 8: BNSF 5082 South at same location as above. 12:32pm. By the way all of the BNSF trains in this series are on the BNSF Galveston SUB. 9: UP 9709 SB on UP Giddings sub Caldwell, TX heading down siding at 1:09pm to let a stack train overtake it. 11: BNSF 7434 NB at Caldwell, TX over the UP Giddings Sub at 2:31pm. 12: BNSF 7235 Coming NB off UP Giddings Sub onto the NB BNSF Galveston Sub at Caldwell, TX at 3:27 pm. 17: UP 6417 NB stack train on UP Austin Sub at Milano, TX crossing over the diamond with the BNSF Galveston Sub at 5:35 pm.
