Western Railroad Discussion > Three in Nine for Easter Sunday

I caught three trains in nine minutes just before sunset on Easter Sunday. The location is Murray, Utah on the old Rio Grande about five miles south of Salt Lake City.

1. First, UP's CLRSV9 coal empty rambles east through Murray about five minutes out of Roper Yard.

2. Second, Utah Railway's RUT312 local returns to Midvale Yard from Woods Cross.

3. Third, Utah Railway's RUT611 local completes the sequence with 27 cars from Provo Yard bound for Ogden.
