Yesterday April 22 2014 proved to be a great gathering of oklachaser, santafe199, PRose and myself, even getting to meet Myrtle the dog for the first time while out documenting UP's equipment move for the new ElPaso yard.
1. The day began with the arrival at Herington KS, overtaking a wb freight at the Hwy 77 crossovers east of town.
2. After a crew change, the train proceeds west through the S-curve west of Herington at Rain Rd and 200 Rd and also just before crossing the BNSF.
3.&4. Leaving Ramona KS after a short DS pause

Nice photos! Every time I try to see an Officer's Special, I miss it! Is there anybody onboard this train? The shades are down on the rear car, so I don't think anyone's on. If this is an equipment move, where is it going? Thanks.

I wish these were Rock signals, but they're SP Safetrans from the 90s.
