Some Haywire & UP . . .

Activity on the UP Wagoner Sub was in a lull yesterday afternoon, the first train encountered was a Herzog rock train with some great looking KCS power they had tied down on the UP/KCS connection track at the diamond in Sallisaw OK. Then hearing on the scanner a southbound was close, made a short run to Redland OK to catch the chicken train reducing for the 45mph speed limit over the Arkansas River Navigation Channel, spilled corn kernels were still falling off the tops of the cars even after traveling this far from being loaded in Kansas.
Finally did get a UP train I was satisfied with climbing up the grade into Braggs OK towards the end of the day. Photos July 13 2014 Thanks for looking

Great looking KCS power is right! That is a nice looking trio of gray standard cabs.
