NS and CSX on BNSF Ottumwa Sub
Author: Agent

Passing along a couple reports from the field:

An eastbound piggyback train just got a warrant into Ottumwa, Iowa. Lead unit is NS 9729 followed by CSX 108. Symbol is probably B-DENCHI. It is following a mixed freight led by NS 9886 and NS 1042. Passed through Agency, Iowa at 10:23 AM. Don't know what the symbol could be. They told the dispatcher they had a max speed of 40 mph

1) NS 9886 leading its train through Agency, Iowa.

2-3) NS 9729 came through Agency at 10:37 AM. The last third to fourth of the train is empty spine cars. Don't know if that counts a pure piggyback train, but it at least looks like one from the head end. It seems hard, at least for me, to get an intermodal with trailers but no containers.
