Western Railroad Discussion > A Couple More From Cheyenne Last Week EndDate: 07/26/14 21:49 A Couple More From Cheyenne Last Week End Author: mojaveflyer While waiting for the Granite Local crew to pull the Cheyenne Frontier Days passenger special out of the depot in Cheyenne to wye it, this grain came west after a crew change and crossed over from Main 2 to Main 3 as it departed town. Photo #1 shows the train crossing over, looking east towards the UP yard and steam shops. Photo #2 shows the DPU of the grain train on the left as an empty auto train led by UP 8330 is ready to depart after a crew change west of the depot...
With all of the changes, Cheyenne is still a fun place to watch trains! Thanks for looking. James Nelson Thornton, CO www.flickr.com/mojaveflyer Date: 07/27/14 12:26 Re: A Couple More From Cheyenne Last Week End Author: wesleygreer That second shot is really sweet.
