Two stackers through Jack London today
Author: steph62850

Oakland's Jack London Square was unexpectedly busy today. Around 1 pm UP 3839 brought one stack train into town. UP 7020 brought an ethanol train into the East Oakland yard around 1:45 pm. I boarded Amtrak train 537 for San Jose and we passed another stacker waiting for the signal at 5th Ave so it could proceed into West Oakland (didn't get the lead unit number). What were the symbols for the two stackers. I'd assume one was a KMNOA but then I could be wrong. Thanks.

KMNOA 26 ran around KMNOA 24 which died in the Livermore siding. Things got backed up in the east somewhere.
