This sounds like a broken record, but it was another scorcher in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub at 99 degrees. There was also the usual work window during the day allowing for a very few trains during the day. It always picks up after 300pm. Here are the mostly Orange trains from last evening and today.

1. EB 639pm grain train with BNSF 5515-5525 and UP 4142 on the point with DPU.
2. Meet UP 4142.
3. WB 659pm manifest train with BNSF 4038-4832 on the pull.

4. WB 713pm coal train with BNSF 5692-4827-6035 on the point with DPU.
5. EB 730pm oil train with BNSF 7382-5691 on the pull with DPU BNSF 7233.

7. WB 750pm grain train with BNSF 6145-5824 on the point with DPU CitiRail 1337.
8. DPU CitiRail 1337 on same train.
9. WB 813pm coal train with BNSF 7860-9068-8925 on the pull with DPU.

10. WB 829pm oil train with BNSF 4551 and CSX 391 on the point with DPU and a friendly wave and toot form hogger.
11. WB 859am oil train with BNSF 6868-1047 on the pull with DPU.

13. WB 1037am #27 Empire Builder with 192 on the point over 5hrs late.
14. Another shot of #27 rolling thru Ritzville, WA.
15. WB 1257pm oil train with BNSF 6919-5677 on the pull with DPU.

16. EB 401pm manifest train with green and cream 9510 on the point up close. Caught me by surprise at grade crossing.
17. Another older pink hopper from Farnhamville, Iowa.
18. EB 433pm grain train with BNSF 4673-4661-6517 on the point, no DPU.

I really feel sorry for the MOW crews if the cabs on their equipment do not have air conditioners!
