Salt Lake 2002 on the ZDVSC

Thanks to a heads up from TO's SP8595, I was able to track down and photograph one of the two Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympics SD70Ms. The paint may be 13 years old on UP 2002, but she still looks GREAT.

1. Dropping down the 1.14% through Utah's Echo Canyon

2. Running alongside Interstate 84 in rural Morgan Valley

3. Departing Ogden ascending Roy Hill

4. One last image as the 2002 arrives in Salt Lake City, home of the Winter Olympics in 2002. The ZDVSC will tie up at the Salt Lake City Intermodal Terminal a few miles west of downtown.

Very nice photos. The 2001 & 2002 paint jobs have held up nicely. Good to see the unit in its "home" territory.

James -- SO glad ya got these great photos!

I LOVE he first photo -- IOTD? The 2002 on
the point, the telephone poles receding into
the distance, the COLORS -- wow..... AND
a train of mostly pigs -- these days? wow.....
Love all the photos. I, too, thank "SP 8595"
for the heads up. NICE work, as always!
