Western Railroad Discussion > KCS 4160 and new UP 8198 at Mira Loma

Headed back out again this afternoon with FCP901. Knowing KCS 4160 was on a power move from Los Angeles to Mira Loma was the first reason, also with brand new UP 8198 leading train AGBML, it had the potential for a banner afternoon. This KCS unit had lead a westbound intermodal into LA early this morning, but under cloudy sky's and no angles for westbound's this time of year, it was a real treat to catch this unit this afternoon. A very friendly engineer held the power for us for nearly 5 minutes so we could grab our shots.
