Which one is where?
Author: ns2557

Came east off of US30 at Granger Wyoming about 4-5 hours ago. On an eb Stack train was one of the two UP "Olympic? Units, but I do not know which one. It was trailing in the consist. But in checking out "Heritage Units" web sight, they state that both units are in North Platte Ne with in the last 3 hours. So which one did I see? Can't believe that one of them would make it to NP that quick. TIA. Ben

One of the HU "sightings" is surely mistaken, but without an engine number for the one you saw -- or UP trace information -- it's hard to know which one is wrong. Both of those reports are Webcam-based by different people, which does not inspire confidence that either person was certain about the locomotive number -- I just looked at that cam for the first time and, frankly, the resolution is limiting for anything that isn't in the immediate foreground.

That's kinda like the SD-40-2 in Lincoln the other day in what looks like
a Coast Guard scheme.
