Western Railroad Discussion > Strange visitor to Topeka, KS. yesterday.Date: 09/01/14 04:50 Strange visitor to Topeka, KS. yesterday. Author: lilwes Thanks to a heads up form a buddy I was able to catch this stranger just as it was leaving town WB on the Golden State Route. Anybody know where it's going? I was wondering where the fire happened and is it going for repairs. Lead unit was UP 8823 and there was a CN unit in the consist as well. I had to take the picture from the dark side of the tracks. My Nikon D610 did pretty well handling the light settings. The more I use this camera the better I like it.
Thanks for looking. later...Wes Wes Chiles Topeka, KS Date: 09/01/14 11:13 Re: Strange visitor to Topeka, KS. yesterday. Author: PHall Looks like the #2 engine had a bit of a problem.

Like it might need an engine of change! Date: 09/01/14 23:32 Re: Strange visitor to Topeka, KS. yesterday. Author: wjcandee Or a change of engine!
