Holiday Crowd for the River Runner

Amtrak No. 314, the eastbound morning Missouri River Runner, slows for its station stop at Independence, MO. A good crowd is on hand
to board. I was surprised at the number that got off here also.

Last Saturday.
August 30, 2014

I bet the passenger load at Lee's Summit was also pretty good. The cross-Missouri trains are a success story. There are plans to add a 3rd train.
