Western Railroad Discussion > Cool, windy trains Little Rock SaturdayDate: 09/13/14 20:26 Cool, windy trains Little Rock Saturday Author: arkansasrailroader 1-UP 1844 leads a northbound past Union Station Little Rock at 12:56 p.m. Sep 13.
2-Worn UP 2484. 3-Sharp, clean UP 8186 On my personal webpage today: A breezy, chilly day at Little Rock's Union Station on Saturday, September 13, 2014 with cloudy skies and temperature at 11 a.m. 58 degrees. I caught 5 trains before I had to leave, including locomotives from UP and NS. There was a middle school football game at the school across the tracks, which added to the Fall-feeling of the day. I also saw a pigeon on the tracks, Southern 531263 boxcar, KRL 340323 heavy hauler with a transformer, and MKT 572 green short hopper. Locomotives today: UP 5743, 7388, 7692, 8594, 1844, 1878, 1781, 800, 4153, 9647, 8757, 5188, 8186, 9501, 2484 **** NS 8770, 9240 Click this link to view more photos: http://thundertrain.org/trains-091314.html Date: 09/13/14 20:33 Re: Cool, windy trains Little Rock Saturday Author: bankshotone Love the switchers and the new GE's

Brian Stevens Date: 09/14/14 16:43 Re: Cool, windy trains Little Rock Saturday Author: lynnpowell Apparently no Board of Directors train has ever passed by the 2484! I have never seen any other UP locomotive in such a rough paint job still in service!
