They drop most of the train at Stockton. This is the traffic for UPS's North Bay Facility.

Thanks guys!

Both shots are really sweet, especially the first one.

Very nice! But watch out for poison oak on that hill.

Great photos, I hiked around the other side once, never went up that side of the hill, your views are much better.

I agree, great shots. Yes, the poison oak around there is pretty bad but has just about died off now. The hard part is finding a clear space between the trees! I have t tried in a while, but I am glad that you prove there is at least one hole on the trees close to the tracks.

Not to mention rattlesnakes.

Thank God, no rattlers in this area. Plenty of the non-poisonous type though.

Just because you didn't see any rattlers doesn't mean there aren't any. I lived in Pleasant Hill/Martinez for many years and can't count all the rattlesnakes I've seen in that area.

Last time I shot there, I drove into the church parking lot at the east end of the bridge and there were two dead ones in the lot. Both run over and the rattles cut off.

Thanks all!

Didn't see any rattlers and I luckily avoided the oak this time around!

It's possible the elusive King Snake might be populating the area - they eat rattlesnakes. :-)

Thanks for the spectacular shots of the Muir Trestle.
