Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF 1316 as GN 6510 one year ago (link 2 pix)

Just rummaging through the TO archives I came across an interesting thread from August 19, 2013. This thread just so happened to show GN 6510, what has since become BNSF 1316, the latest in NRE's Genset rebuild program. I think it's safe to say that the other SD45-2 (and B) units in Jeff Carlson's thread are likely candidates for the additional units to be delivered to BNSF later this year, BNSF 1311-1315. Thanks Jeff for capturing these machines one last time for us!

Hey, I remember that! While I was a little upset that the two A-units had their cabs facing into the B, you can rest assured that anytime I spot an ABA set of SD45-2's, I'll shoot it.

Glad the shots eventually proved useful!
