Good Looking Leaders
Author: CP_M260

This past Saturday, 10/25, I made the 'rounds' around Kansas City to enjoy the beautiful 80 degree day, as well as the fall colors, and any trains that I might 'stumble' upon in the process. I was able to catch 3 trains with good looking lead units, and in good sunlight as well. I suppose this means the next time I go out, I'll find a solar eclipse! ;)

Enjoy!

1. Making a rare visit to the 'Land of Oz', British Columbia Railway C44-9W 4650 serves as a lead unit on BNSF grain train G BWKJOE9 24A, on its way to Joel, TX seen here at Edgerton, KS
2. Winding through downtown Parkville, MO Texas Utilities train C EBMKCM1 03A looks good with a KCS SD70ACe and CREX ES44AC as head end power
3. Not a lead unit, but the right-facing DPU of the TXUX train warranted a few photos as the tail end passed

4. My final train for the day was NS D70-25, with a pair of BNSF bluebonnet EMDs, waiting to return home to Argentine - seen at the 10th Street Grade Crossing in No. Kansas City, MO

Thanks for looking,
-Dalton
