Halloween Rain & snow coming to Nor Cal.
Author: czuleget

The NWS is calling for snow over the Sierra Range starting Thursday night. This should stick as it will be a cool storm with snow down to as low as 4000 feet.

There's talk about a disturbance from the southwest upsetting the obvious cold storm from the northwest, check the Satellite imagery. The Guy on channel two in the SF Area noted that last night, he felt it would disrupt the cold front and dissipate the storm for the SF to Sacramento Areas. Also noted the minimum Temps in the Far-Northern area has gone up a degree or two. It could be also be warm moisture that would cause rain at higher elevations. Another wait and see, but it does seem to be an early winter.

Yep, traffic on the west coast is so slow that we're talking weather.

Yes, if you're south of SF, don't change your outdoor plans. The storm will find some way to miss us like they usually do.

All of the weather guys and gals down here in LA would disagree with you. We will get some rain. Not a lot, just enough to make your car look bad.
