Neat Stuff at Night Around Burlington, IA
Author: SantaFe9820

I always love to set up the ol' tripod and fire off some long exposure shots in the wee hours of the night.

1. Local power consisting of BNSF 588 (built as Santa Fe 7439) and 541

2. CREX 1424 as DPU power on a westbound passes in the background. (iPhoto wouldn't blue my shadow out)

3. Freshly painted Winchester & Western GP38. Before this handsome coat of black, it was MVPX 1, and I can't find any more history on it.

I, too, enjoying night photography with a long time exposure. The air seems quieter and you sense your surroundings more.
