Something New, Something Blue, in San Tim
Author: TheNavigator

Yesterday we were treated to two catfish on the ex-SP Sunset Route through SoCal's San Timoteo Canyon:

Today we were able to shoot two dark future CSXT units - - 5480 and 4004 - - also in San Tim but with the added bonus of a nearly-new UP SD70AH 8867 on the point ahead of the blue visitors from the east.

Thanks to DRGW, RSD5, and SP8595 for the heads up on this train.

As they say, "pool is cool."

Thanks for looking,
GK

1. Approaching El Casco.

2. At El Casco.

3. Entering the yard at West Colton, shot from the Pepper Ave. overpass.

I'll bet you were disappointed one of those CSX motors wasn't leading.... ;-)

Great shots, Gary. Thanks for sharing the results of another productive chase.

Preferably the 4004. 5480 not as much!
