Shouda got a Chevy! Forget a Subaru or a Toyota. That train is known as "The Worm". Still runs today. Nice video!

Nice video, John, thanks for posting. And you're right, few railfans ever
ventured up that road, although in truth, this railfan didn't even know about it.
I did park down by the landfill and walk south along the UP(SP) and managed
a more or less over under shot I haven't scanned yet, so can't post. Since
the construction work is along the south side of the tunnel, these are views
you'll never get again. Thanks for posting.

Thirty years ago I used to spend a LOT of time sitting in SP's siding at Vaugn, watching Santa Fe trains hustle-by, and thinking about the future consequences of the SPSF merger. I haven't been back since, but your video put me darn close. Thanks, John!
